ADULT THERAPY BUSY BOX DESCRIPTION:

The Adult Therapy Busy Box is filled with over 50 activities and exercises with a printed instruction manual to promote and refine hand dexterity, fine motor coordination, and overall hand strength.  Some of the activities included are a stress ball, 2 oz of medium strength Theraputty, as well as beading, sorting, stacking, patterning, and lacing activities. Balloons are added for gross motor activities and a deck of playing cards incorporates cognitive and problem solving function. These activities are perfect for general hand strengthening, stroke recovery, hand therapy, problem solving, and much, much more!

CHILDREN'S THERAPY BUSY BOX DESCRIPTION:

Our Children's Busy Box comes with a printed instruction manual with over 50 activities and exercises that you'll find in each toolkit. Therapy Busy Box focuses on fine motor skills and grip strengthening but also have cognitive aspects as well.  Fine motor function is the ability to make controlled movements using the small muscles in your hands and wrists.  Though they are typically small movements, they are precise and complex involving the coordinated efforts of the brain and muscles. In children these movements are imperative to learning how to properly hold a pen/pencil, learn to button their clothing, tie their shoes, feed themselves, and more. The items in this kit will allow children to work on the muscle movements needed to be able to improve these skills without realizing they are actually "exercising".
